On April 13, 2020, Âé¶čAV (the “College”) signed and returned to the Department of Education (“DoE”) the Certification and Agreement associated with the Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, And Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”). Âé¶čAV received its HEERF III Grant award notification on May 18, 2021; signing an additional agreement to receive this funding allocation was not required. In keeping with the terms of acceptance of these funds, Âé¶čAV will use no less than $1,319,093 to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants directly to students.

Students with greater demonstrated financial need were provided larger amounts while those with less demonstrated financial need were provided smaller amounts. Undergraduate students whose institutionally-calculated estimated family contribution (EFC) was less than $10,000 for the year received up to $1,325; those whose institutional EFC was between $10,001 and $25,000 received up to $900; and other eligible students with institutional EFCs over $25,000 (but less than the cost of attendance) received up to $300.
