8:23 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Old Library

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation. The issue is ongoing and being addressed by Facilities.

Wednesday, August 28

2:00 p.m. | Fire Alarm | New Dorm

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm. Unknown reason for activation. Facilities notified.

10:14 p.m. |  Animal Incident | Brecon

A bat was observed by students on the third floor. The bat could not be located.

11:43 p.m. | Medical Transport | Rockefeller

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for an allergic reaction and self-administered EpiPen.

Thursday, August 29

6:37 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Denbigh

Campus Safety responded for a report of an alarm activation in a room. Unknown cause for activation.  

Friday, August 30

6:14 pm                                                Assist Student                                       New Dorm

Campus Safety received a call from a parent that her daughter was experiencing an allergic reaction in her room. Res. Life staff were able to make arrangements to relocate the student.

Saturday, August 31

10:41 a.m. | Animal Incident | Brecon

A bat was observed by students on the first floor of the dorm. The bat could not be located by Campus Safety.                

6:54 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Brecon

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation. The cause was a faulty detector. Facilities notified.

Sunday, August 31

1:34 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Denbigh

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation. Unknown cause for activation.

5:12 p.m. | Medical Transport | Erdman

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital at heir request for an illness.

9:46 p.m. | Medical Transport | Merion

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for an injury sustained after falling on steps.

10:44 p.m. | Check Well Being | Rhoads

Campus Safety checked on a student at the request of a family member. The student was not initially located but later called Campus Safety. The family member was updated.

Monday, Sept 2

4:02 p.m. | Check Well Being | Brecon

Campus Safety checked on a student at the request of their mother. The student was sleeping and advised to call her family.                                          

4:15 p.m. | Medical Transport | Merion

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for a laceration on their leg.

6:46 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem East

Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activation, possibly set off by a blow dryer.

Monday, Sept 3

12:23 | Liquor Law | Blue Bus Stop

Campus Safety responded for a report of an intoxicated student at the bus stop. The student was evaluated by ambulance personnel and transported to the hospital.                        

There were no other significant incidents to report.

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm. (Loft Detector) Unknown reason for activation. Facilities notified. 

9:01 a.m. | Medical Transport | Rhoads 

A student was transported to the hospital via ambulance for an illness. 

6:35 p.m. | Fire Alarm |Denbigh 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm. (Room 110) Unknown reason for activation. 

8:26 p.m. | Assist Student/Facilities Notification | Canaday 

Campus Safety assisted a student after they had become stuck in the elevator. Facilities notified.  

Thursday, September 5 

5:00 p.m. | Vehicle Accident | Off Campus 

The operator of the Blu Bus states that they were struck by a vehicle off campus. Minor damage sustained to the bus. No injuries reported. 

7:17 p.m. | Medical Transport | Pem East 

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for minor injuries and evaluation after a fall. 

7:51 p.m. | Medical Transport | Brecon 

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for evaluation after reporting that they had fallen earlier in the day. 

10:49 p.m. | Medical Transport | Batten 

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital after fainting for evaluation. 

Friday, September 6 

3:01 a.m. | Fire Alarm | Denbigh 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm. (Off Normal). Unknow reason for activation. 

5:16 a.m. | Medical Transport | Radnor 

A student was transported to the hospital at their request for stomach pain. 

Saturday, September 7 

12:20 a.m. | Medical Transport/Alcohol | Arnecliffe 

A student was transported to the hospital by ambulance for intoxication. 

4:06 p.m. | Medical Transport | Merion 

A student was transported at their request to the hospital. 

6:59 p.m. | Information Received | Campus Center 

Campus Safety responded for a report of a drug transaction from a vehicle. The vehicle could not be located upon arrival.  

9:20 p.m. | Vehicle Accident | Off Campus 

A college employee backed into a tree casing minor damage to a campus vehicle while conducting a transport of a student.  

10:30 p.m. | Liquor Law | Merion 

A student was evaluated for intoxication and was deemed not to need further treatment. They remained on campus with friends. 

11:33 p.m. | Property Damage | Old Library 

A student reported a dislodged sink in the first-floor bathroom. The bathroom was closed and Facilities notified.                          

There were no other significant incidents to report.
