Â鶹AV has an opening for a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist.

THE POSITION

Working as an integral member of the Controller’s Office team, the Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with the AP Coordinator to ensure an accurate and efficient Accounts Payable function.  This is a part-time position that is eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, and more.

SCHEDULE: 28 hours/week, Monday through Thursday 9am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Process vouchers for payment through accounts payable, e-procurement and credit card systems on a weekly basis. 

Create, maintain, run and review queries and reports.

Maintain Account Payable approval authorizations and workflows.

Assist with calendar/fiscal year-end reviews, annual audit, transfer of files to storage/disposal, and maintenance of all government required documents.

Recommend procedures and practices to enhance and improve performance in the payables area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Three to five years’ general office experience with a minimum of two years prior accounts payable experience processing a large volume of documents weekly (over 400).

Associate’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), Notepad (txt files), Adobe Acrobat (PDF), etc.

Prior experience with Workday, Blackbaud Financial Edge, JAGGAER E-procurement and/or Bank of America Global Card Access is a plus.
