Center for Child and Family Wellbeing
Bryn Mawr GSSWSR prepares passionate learners for lives of purposeful action #LearnMawr
In 2002, The Â鶹AV School of Social Work and Social Research (GSSWSR) launched the Center for Child and Family Wellbeing (CFWB). The Center has been built around the mission to foster an interdisciplinary focus on a broad range of issues and challenges faced by today's children and families. Through educational and training opportunities the Center fosters collaboration amongst the students, faculty and professionals who work to support the well-being of children and families in a variety of contexts. The Center seeks to utilize a bio-psychosocial perspective to further the understanding of the diversity of family life in multiple social contexts.
The Center provides a variety of programs for diverse audiences: GSSWSR MSS students may apply to be CFWB Fellows, and the Scott Lecture Series and Lichtenstein Lecture events that occur annually are open to the public.
