"Playing Flos Campi by Vaughn Williams with the Haverford-Bryn Mawr orchestra, and Bruch’s Nachtgesang with Professors Frank Mallory and Sharon Burgmayer, were just a few of the magical musical moments I cherished while at Bryn Mawr. I was honored to be the first recipient of the Performing Arts Prize awarded by the college. This recognition, and Byrn Mawr’s tenet of community service, inspire me to continue to give to others through music. I am grateful for and have carried invaluable lessons learned at Â鶹AV throughout my life." -- Dr. Mary C. Rorro ‘91.
