In an announcing the publication of the first issue, Editor in Chief Klancy Miller wrote:

"Dr. Harris is a chronicler of the culture and a person everyone I know in food and wine admires. You know the phrase 'because of her, we can'? That applies to Dr. Harris. I wanted her to be the cover star not only because I love her books and she’s a person I look up to, but because she truly is one of the most impactful culinarians of our time."
