Maryanne on her Bryn Mawr Experience: It was full of highs and lows. I have made deep friendships and connections which I hope to keep when I leave. I have made mistakes and laughed, and cried about them. Having dinner in a buzzy dining hall and reflecting on a day's events was one of my favorite moments.
Key experiences:
- Culture shock
- Internship at MD Anderson Cancer Center: I did research on leukemia and discovered my passion for immunology.
- Traditions
Hometown: Kiambu, Kenya
