Key Bryn Mawr experiences: Nolan came to Bryn Mawr as part of the Posse Scholars program. āPosse really gave me the support system that I didnāt know I would need in college,ā she says. āIt made me feel like graduating was something that was finally tangible and attainable.ā
Major: Sociology and English
What she's taking with her as she prepares to graduate: "Bryn Mawr has taught me to engage with spaces in a new way, given me a deeper appreciation for what spaces are available to me, and how I can use those spaces to understand my own growth and my own identity. ā¦ It feels surreal. Going back home means that my relationship with these spaces has obviously changedāIām in a new role as a teacher, as an educatorāand I think itās really making it clear to me how prepared I am, and also how much I still have to grow, which is both terrifying and exciting but also very fulfilling.ā
Hometown: Houston, Texas.
